Registration
Registration fee and forms for new students are due in the Admissions Office in March 2009. Please check back for the exact deadline.
Orientation
New Student Orientation is scheduled for April 20, 2009 at 7 p.m. Students and at least one parent must attend. Parking is available either in the main school lot off 43rd Avenue or in the lots on Madison Street and 44th Street.

Extra-Curricular Activities
DeMatha offers a program of extra-curricular activities to appeal to the interests and abilities of a wide range of students. These activities include varsity, junior varsity, freshmen, and intramural athletics, service organizations, student publications, clubs and organizations, student government; the National Honor Society and elective band and chorus groups. The school encourages any worthy activity for which sufficient interest is shown.

Khaki pants with DM emblem or solid Grey trousers. Plain dress shirt and tie & dress shoes. Required shoes are "Dirty Bucks, Black Bucks, or Brown Bucks" which may be purchased at Varsity Campus Outfitters located in College Park, MD. Phone number is 1-888-923-0700. Boots, referee type or athletic sport shoes, shoes with ribbed bottoms and shoes that extend over the ankle are not permitted. Black-soled shoes are also not permitted. |
Warm weather dress code

Khaki pants and dress shirt (tie optional) or DeMatha golf shirt, and dress shoes. DeMatha golf shirt can only be purchased at the DeMatha Book Store. All students may wear any color DeMatha golf shirt during the months of September and May. |
Uniform Measurment
New Student Uniform measurement by Varsity Campus Outfitters will take place in the DeMatha McCarthy Center (MAC) in June 2009. Dates will be announced in the spring.

All parents are encouraged to take an active part in the booster organizations which function throughout the year. These organizations are: The DeMatha Parents Organization, the Band Boosters, the Senior Booster Club and the various athletic booster groups.
